Balls!

Balls!
Price: 1.99
It's not a game, it's a toy.

It's just a screenful of colorful balls that roll around as you tilt your iphone/ipod.

They also react to acceleration and momentum as you ride in a car. (Warning: don't play with it if you are the driver!)

If blinky is selected, when blinky balls touch, they make a new ball.

If touch is selected, when you touch the screen it creates a new ball.

When two identical balls touch, they annihilate each other.

You can adjust the floatiness of the balls.

If you crowd yourself out you can reset.

Intuition Decision Maker

Intuition Decision Maker
Price: .99
Based on an intution training exercise. Ask a Yes/No question; two random abstract images will appear. Each will be randomly assigned to "yes" or "no" (behind the scenes.) You choose the image that most appeals to you, and then it will be revealed whether that was the "yes" or "no" image.

You can also test your intuition by seeing how many times you guess correctly which is the yes (or no) image.

To do the original exercise, you had to have another person handle the yes/no randomization, usually by writing "yes" and "no" on slips of paper, which would be put face down. Then you would be told to visualize and describe an object (usually a box, I have no idea why) on top of each slip of paper. Then you would choose the one you liked best, at which point you'd turn over that slip of paper to reveal the answer.

This is a lot easier!

Pengcognito

Pengcognito
Price: Free
Grab the latest strips from pengcognito.com (the weekly cartoon set in an alternate universe where penguins rule!) Requires internet connection.

Balls Kids

Balls Kids
Price: .99
A version of the Balls! app that's more kid-friendly.

No preferences, no pause button, just pure entertainment.

Tilt to roll the balls, touch the screen to add a ball, touch a ball to blow it up. (If two like balls touch, they still blow up, though.)

Fun in the car (hold it flat and watch the balls react to acceleration, braking and turns.) (NOT for the driver!)

More fun sound effects; the chimes are still from a pentatonic scale, so it will still sound musical.

It's not just for kids - it's also a nice stress-reliever for any age.

(Note: I am not responsible if your kid drools on your iphone/ipod or tries to eat it! You decide how young is too young!)

Cosmic Ordering

Cosmic Ordering
Price:
Cosmic ordering is a playful approach to manifesting and the Law of Attraction. It's a lot easier to get what you want when you think of the universe as a ginormous mail order company - just order it, and forget it. Obsessing over manifestation makes it not work - that's why parking spaces are easy and soul mates, castles and perfect jobs are tough. A cosmic ordering approach, on the other hand, encourages the light touch and sense of play that makes the big stuff easy, too.

Hypno

Hypno
Price:
Aid to meditation with swirly images and hypnotic sounds

Dream Signs

Dream Signs
Price:
First, shows a surreal dream-like image, and then gives you one type of short text:

- Dream Sign: something to look for in your environment or recent memory that could be a clue that you're dreaming.
- Dream Tip: a tip for improving your chances of lucid dreaming
- Dream Action: an action to perform to see if you're dreaming (something that usually works in a dream but not in waking reality, or vice-versa)

Shake for a random sign/action/tip to help you gain lucidity, or browse all.

You can also set up a state tester to remind you to check to see if you're dreaming, up to 5 times per day (3.0 and up only.)

OK, to get an app in the iTunes app store, you need to be a registered developer. I am. If you are, and you just want to outsource some work, OK.

Or, you may have a great idea for an app but don't know how to write one and/or don't want to pay the fee and do the paperwork to be a developer. In that case, we could collaborate on an app and split the profits.

Or, you can use a free iPhone app to drive traffic to a site or sell your stuff. In that case, you'd pay me to write the app and I'd put it in the app store.
